Panos Lolos
Mr. Panos Lolos was born in 1972. He studied political science and international studies at Panteion University, and obtained a Master of Arts from North Carolina State University, USA, and an MBA from Piraeus University. From 2000 to 2001, he worked at AB Vassilopoulos S.A., a subsidiary of the Belgian food retail chain Delhaize Group S.A.. Since 2001, he has been active in the industrial sector, having served in roles related to internal and external sales at HALCOR SA., a leading European producer specializing in the production and distribution of copper and copper alloy products with a robust presence in European and international markets.
In 2020, he assumed the position of General Manager of the Copper Extrusion and Alloys Sector of ELVALHALCOR S.A. while, today, he holds the position of General Manager of the Copper Division at the same company.
Mr. Lolos is the Chairman of the Association of Industries of Central Greece, an executive member of the Board of Directors of ElvalHalcor S.A., and a board member of Sofia Med A.D., EANEP-O.A. S.A., EDEP-O.A. S.A., SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises -whose Outreach Committee he chairs- and of HELLENIC PRODUCTION - Industry Roundtable for Growth, while he is a registered member of the Economic Chamber of Greece.
He has a particular interest in technology, competition, pricing, regulation, market analysis and marketing techniques in the industry. In addition to industry-related topics, his public interventions and articles in Greek and English focus on economics and regulatory policies.
